Hockey

Lake Lenore has an active minor hockey program. The Hawks compete in the North Central Minor Hockey League and are able to ice very competitive teams in most age divisions.

The Lake Lenore Hawks Senior Hockey Club competes in the Wheatland Senior league where they have won several league pennants and a couple of league championships in recent years.

The John Doherty Memorial Arena is home to the Hawks. This natural ice facility has a lot of character and is the center of activity in the winter months.

School Sports

The Lake Lenore Lancers athletic program is extremely competitive in both boys and girls soccer, basketball, cross country and track & field.  Teams and individuals regularly win district championships and vie for provincial titles.

Fishing

The Village of Lake Lenore sits on the south end of Lenore Lake, one of the best Walleye fisheries in Saskatchewan.  The lake is also home to Northern Pike, Perch and Whitefish.  It’s an angler’s paradise for both summer and winter fishing.

Fitness Centre

The Lioness Fitness Corner is located in the bowling alley.  It is a well-equipped gym with cardio. equipment and weight machines and plenty of free weights.  Members pay an annual fee and receive a key to the facility so they can use the facility anytime day or night – whenever it is most convenient. 

Dance

Lake Lenore has an active dance club offering Hip-hop, Ballet, Jazz and Tap lessons.  The dancers prepare for one competition each season and a year-end recital for the community.
